My picky cat refuses to drink from anything but her fountain, so these charcoal filters have been a lifesaver. The water stays noticeably fresher and odor-free between changes, and installing a new one takes me less than a minute.

The charcoal does a solid job cutting the stale smell that builds up in my dog's fountain between cleanings. Took a couple of tries to seat them snugly, but they fit fine once you line up the tabs right.
