My cockatiel figured out the clip mechanism within seconds—the way it snaps onto the cage bars feels secure enough that even his excited tugging doesn’t budge it. The plastic is sturdy but not bulky, and the millet stays put without scattering everywhere.
The bright color actually makes it easy to spot when I'm cleaning the cage, and the holder snaps onto the bars without any fiddling. My budgie figured out how to pull at the millet within minutes, so the foraging instinct part definitely rings true.
The clip holds firm on the cage bars, so my cockatiel can tug at the millet without it dropping to the floor. The bright color actually caught her eye right away and she’s been foraging on it all morning.
