Folds down flat enough to slide into my jacket pocket, and it pops right back into a bowl at the park. I keep one in the car now just in case.

Tossed this in my backpack for a weekend hike and barely noticed the weight since it collapses so thin. At the summit I popped it open, filled it from my bottle, and my dog drank without the bowl sliding around on the rock.

Tossed this in my hiking pack and barely noticed the weight, since it collapses to under half an inch. The silicone grips slippery rock okay, though I wish the rim were a touch stiffer when it's full of water.
