My old one cracked after two years of constant use, and this replacement fit the 3-gallon base perfectly with zero wobble. The seal is tight enough that there’s no dripping on the floor, which was my biggest worry. My dog’s back to drinking normally and that’s all I needed.
Fits perfectly on both my 2.5 and 3 gallon models, so I didn’t have to worry about which size to grab. The plastic feels a bit sturdier than the original, and the seal is tight enough that I haven't seen a single drip since swapping it in.
My old cap was cracked and leaking water all over the kitchen floor, so this replacement was exactly what I needed — it fits my 3-gallon gravity waterer perfectly and snaps on with a nice, secure seal. No more puddles, and the dogs are happily drinking again.
