The burrow-style hide-and-seek layout is exactly what my little hunter needed, she keeps pulling the inner toy out and pouncing on it over and over. Even after a week, she still digs for it every morning like it's the first time, which says a lot for a toy she usually gets bored with in a day.
My cat spent a solid twenty minutes digging the inner toy out of the bucket and then carried it around like a trophy. The burrow-style design really hits that hunting instinct, and the plush is soft enough that she can knead it without it falling apart.
