My cat claimed this bed within five minutes of me unpacking it, and the raised rim is perfect for her to rest her head on while she sprawls out. The fabric feels sturdy and the cushion is plush enough that she actually stays in it all night instead of moving to the floor.
The sofa silhouette actually holds its shape even after my 70-pound lab plows into it every night, and the fabric feels sturdy enough to survive his claws. He's been sleeping on it for two weeks straight without touching his old bed once, which says everything.
My dog circles it three times before flopping down, and the raised backrest is just right for propping his head when he watches me work. The fabric feels sturdy, not scratchy, and he’s already claimed it as his morning nap spot.
