The JW® Sand Perch is designed with your pet bird's comfort in mind. This sturdy perch can be attached anywhere in the cage. It's also designed to be wider at the base and more slender toward the tip to give your bird's feet a workout with different grip sizes. The unique shape also keeps your feathered friend perched on the middle to the end, rather than near the cage to help keep the mess inside the cage. Your pet bird will love how natural the sand feels and which also helps keep your bird's nails healthy with normal wear. Choose the small perch for parakeets, canaries, finches, and other small birds or the regular size for parrots, cockatiels, and other birds of similar size. Ships in assorted colors.

Alexander L. ★★★★★

My cockatiel actually prefers this perch over all the dowel ones in the cage. The taper from the wider base to the slimmer tip gives her different grip widths to choose from, and she'll sit on it for hours.

Jacob ★★★★★

Slopes down toward the tip so my parrotlet can pick where to perch, and the wider base keeps him from wobbling mid-snack. Took maybe two seconds to clip onto the cage bars and it hasn’t moved since.

Edward ★★★★★

My older cockatiel finally has a grip he can hold onto comfortably, and the tapered shape makes it easy for him to move from the wide base to the tip as he shifts perches. Attaching it was a simple twist into the cage bars, and he's been using it non-stop all week.
