Our dachshund kept knocking the original cap loose, but this one fits with a satisfying click and the threads line up perfectly with the waterer base. I appreciate that the opening is wide enough to fill without spilling, even when I'm in a hurry. Solid replacement for the price.
The old cap cracked after a year of sun exposure, so I ordered this replacement and it fit my 4-gallon jug perfectly, no wobble or leaks. Took about two minutes to swap out, and the water flow is back to normal.
I was worried I'd have to buy a whole new waterer just because the cap cracked, but this one fits the 4-gallon base perfectly and snaps on tight. The threading lines up cleanly with no wobble, so it's holding water without any drips.
