Long Replacement Latch for Plastic kennels

Our dog finally stopped busting out of the kennel door – this replacement latch slides in exactly like the original and the spring is stiff enough to hold firm under pressure. Took me under two minutes to swap out the old one. Definitely worth grabbing if your current latch is getting worn or loose.

Our escape artist figured out how to nudge the old latch open, but this longer replacement sits flush and takes more force to trip. Took under two minutes to swap with just a screwdriver, and the door hasn’t budged since. Feels sturdier than the original too.

The latch is a perfect match for the cage door and slides smoothly into place, no forcing needed. My only gripe is the plastic feels a bit lighter than the original, but it’s held up fine through a month of daily use.
