This hide-a-toy puzzle contains pure North American catnip for a strong, aromatic fragrance. Silvervine is a natural plant in the kiwi family that has a similar reaction to catnip but affects more cats.
My cat spends a solid twenty minutes every evening digging through the burrow layers to fish out the hidden toy — the crinkle sound inside really hooks her attention. It’s the first puzzle toy she hasn’t abandoned after a day.
My cat spends ages digging through the layers to unearth the hidden squeaky piece, and it's the first toy that's kept her busy past the ten-minute mark. The burrow-style design lets her really work for her "prey," which is exactly what she needs.
The layered nesting is clever — my cat loves tunneling through the slices to dig out the hidden mouse. The plush is sturdy enough that she can really wrestle with it without it falling apart. Worth every penny for the ten minutes of peace it buys me.
