Tossed this in the lake and it floats until my lab paddles over to grab it, which honestly surprised me. The three balls at the ends make it easy for her to pick up on the first try instead of fumbling around.
The three-ball boomerang shape is what sold me — it flies way more predictably than a single ball and my lab actually brings the whole thing back instead of just one. Took it to the lake last weekend and it floats, so no more wading out to fish it off the bottom.
My dog usually drops the ball halfway back, but this thing he actually carries the whole way because the three ends are easy to grab. It floats too, so lake fetch doesn't end with me wading in after it.
