Our golden retriever finally stopped sliding around in his plastic kennel, and the mat’s got enough padding that he actually curls up on it instead of pushing it aside. It took about a minute to lay flat after unboxing, and the size fits the crate floor edge to edge without bunching up.
The mat fits nicely inside the wire crate without bunching up at the edges, and it's thin enough that the door still closes easily. It's not super plush for a stand-alone bed, but as a kennel liner it does the job.
