My old cap had cracked and was leaking all over the floor, so I grabbed this replacement and it sealed right up on my 1/2 gallon waterer. Fits like the original and no drips since I put it on.
The threading on this cap is exactly right for the 1/2 gallon bottle, so it screwed on snug without any leaking around the neck. My dog’s waterer is back in business and I didn’t have to buy a whole new unit.
