Wasn't sure this cap would match my 3-gallon waterer, but it screwed on and sealed perfectly on the first try. The plunger seats tight with no drips, which is exactly what I needed after the original went missing during a move.
My old one cracked after two years of constant use, and this replacement fit the 3-gallon base perfectly with zero wobble. The seal is tight enough that there’s no dripping on the floor, which was my biggest worry. My dog’s back to drinking normally and that’s all I needed.
Fits perfectly on both my 2.5 and 3 gallon models, so I didn’t have to worry about which size to grab. The plastic feels a bit sturdier than the original, and the seal is tight enough that I haven't seen a single drip since swapping it in.
