The Bounceflex Core makes it bounce just enough that my dog has to actually chase it, not just wait for it to land. We've been playing fetch down the hallway every night after work and the hardwood floors haven't gotten a single scratch. Best ten bucks I've spent on a toy in a while.
My dog goes nuts for this thing on rainy days when we're stuck inside. It glides low across the hardwood without knocking anything over, and the lightweight core means it doesn't hurt when she catches it mid-air.
My dog goes crazy for this on rainy days, and the lightweight core means it actually flies without me winding up like a pitcher. Only downside is it slides under the couch pretty easily, but that's more my aim than the toy's fault.
